Rear Wheel Alignment Procedures: Inspection

  1. INSPECT TIRE (See  INSPECTION  ) 
  2. MEASURE VEHICLE HEIGHT (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 
    NOTE: Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specified value.
  3. INSPECT TOE-IN 
    Rear Wheel Toe-In Specification

    Toe-in A + B: 0°16' +/- 16' (0.26° +/- 0.26°)
    (total) C - D: 2.6 +/- 2.5 mm (0.10 +/- 0.10 in.)

    If the toe-in is not within the specified value, inspect and replace the suspension parts as necessary.

  4. INSPECT CAMBER 
    1. Install the camber-caster-kingpin gauge or position vehicle on wheel alignment tester.
    2. Inspect the camber.

    If the measured value is not within the specified value, inspect the suspension parts for damage and/or wear and replace them if necessary become camber is not adjustable.
