Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Toyota Matrix and 2003 Toyota Corolla. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
For circuit description, see DTC P0100: MASS AIR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION . Detecting conditions of DTC are:
- After engine is warmed up, following conditions continue for more than 10 seconds when engine speed is 900 RPM or less (2 trip detection logic):
- Throttle valve fully closed.
- Mass air flow meter output is greater than 2.2 V.
- THW is greater than 158°F (70°C).
- The following conditions continue for more than 10 seconds when engine speed is 1500 RPM or more (2 trip detection logic):
- VTA is greater than or equal to 0.1 V.
- Mass air flow meter output is less than 1 V.
