Front Seat: Disassembly

Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring and remove vertical adjuster knob.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Using a screwdriver, pry out the release handle.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Remove the 3 screws, cushion outer shield and cushion outer lower shield.

Remove the 2 screws and cushion inner shield.

Remove the bolt and inner belt.

1. Remove the hog rings.
2. Turn over the seatback cover.
3. Remove the 4 bolts and the seatback assembly.
4. W/Seat heater:

   Disconnect the connector.

1. Remove the headrest supports.
2. W/Side airbag:

   Using a screwdriver, pry out the bracket as shown in Fig 3.

   NOTE: Be careful not to damage the airbag.

3. Remove the seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.
4. Remove the hog rings, then remove the seatback cover.

1. W/Seat heater:

   Remove the clip from the adjuster assy.

2. Remove the hog rings, then remove the cushion cover with pad from the adjuster assy.
3. Remove the hog rings, then remove the cushion cover from the pad.

Remove the screw and adjuster inside shield.

Remove the screw and adjuster inside shield.

Remove the bolt and airbag sensor.
