Charging System: Generator: Removal

REMOVE DRIVE BELT
Hook SST on the hexagonal portion of the drive belt tensioner bracket, compress the drive belt tension by turning the drive belt tensioner bracket clockwise, and remove the drive belt.

NOTE: Compress the drive belt tensioner by taking 3 seconds or more and remove the drive belt.

REMOVE GENERATOR
1. Remove the bolt, and disconnect the wire clip on the wire connectors from the generator.
2. Disconnect the wire clamp from the wire clip.
3. Remove the cap and nut, and disconnect the generator wire.
4. Disconnect the generator connector.

5. Remove the 2 bolts and generator.
