Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly With PRETENSIONER: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the RH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
2. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH 
3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
   NOTE: Do not disassemble the retractor.
   1. Before installing the ELR, check the ELR.
      1. Gently tilt the ELR and pull the belt. Check that the belt will not lock within 15° of tilt in all directions. Then check that the belt will lock when over 45° of tilt is applied. If the operation is not as specified, replace the front seat outer belt assembly.

   2. Install the retractor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: For upper bolt 

      4.9 N*m (50 kgf*cm, 43 in.*lbf) 

      For lower bolt 

      41.2 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf) 

   3. Install the shoulder anchor with the bolt.

      Torque: 41.2 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf) 

   4. Install the shoulder anchor cover.
   5. Install the floor anchor with the bolt.

      Torque: 41.2 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf) 

   6. Install the floor anchor cover.
   7. After installing the ELR, check the ELR.
      NOTE: The check should be perform with the assembly installed.
      1. With the belt installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

         If the operation is not as specified, replace the front seat outer belt assembly.

4. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH 
5. INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP RH 
6. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP RH 
8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
9. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
10. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
