Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Disconnect the stereo component amplifier S13 and S14 connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the values in BATTERY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (RESISTANCE)  .

      Standard resistance 

      BATTERY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (RESISTANCE)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      GND (S13-16) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      GND2 (S13-15) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the values in BATTERY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (VOLTAGE)  .
      BATTERY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER (VOLTAGE)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B+ (S13-1) - GND (S13-15) Always 10 to 14 V
      B2+ (S13-10) - GND (S13-15) Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC (S14-12) - GND (S13-15) Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
