How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

- The anti-lock brake system troubleshooting procedures are based on the premise that the CAN communication system is normally functioning. Check the CAN communication system first before troubleshooting the anti-lock brake system (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).

- CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
- Interview the customer and confirm the problem (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
- CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA*
- Check and record DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.
- Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR for DTC Check/Clear, and FREEZE FRAME DATA for Freeze Frame Data).
- Reconfirm the DTCs.
- Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and Freeze Frame Data (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR for DTC Check/Clear, and FREEZE FRAME DATA for Freeze Frame Data).
