Entry Exterior Alarm does not Sound: Procedure

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.MAIN BODY (MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU))
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Wireless Buzzer Wireless door lock buzzer ON/OFF - OK
Wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

OK: Go to next step
- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
- Replace the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK SMART KEY SYSTEM (ENTRY EXTERIOR ALARM OPERATION)
- Check the operation of the entry exterior alarm function.
OK
Entry exterior alarm function operates normally.

- Check the operation of the entry exterior alarm function.
- GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (Proceed to No Answer-Back). Refer to No Answer-Back
- REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to REMOVAL
