Information Banner
Various information is provided in the top banner within IDS.
The left part of the banner shows if IDS is connected to the VCI device and communicating OK.
It also shows the current version of IDS installed.

The middle information shows the current VIN of the vehicle connected, the LV (low voltage) Battery Voltage (12v lead acid battery) and HV (high voltage) Battery SOC (State Of Charge).

*Please note that the 12v battery supports all ECUs and should be connected to a battery maintainer/charger during all diagnostic routines to prevent it being drained.
This antenna icon shows the signal strength of your current WIFI connection.
IDS needs a continuous connection to the internet to access the IDS server.
