Using VCI Hardware
There are 2 options of VCI hardware available that are compatible with VINFAST IDS:
Both units support WIFI, wired LAN and direct USB connection.
CORE XS has all features integrated into the one module housing.
The TC XS has a separate WIFI module or USB module that must be plugged on to the back of the VCI module depending on the connection method you choose.
The TC XS VCI hardware can be used with a USB connection or wireless mode using the WIFI module. These components are shown below:
To use the wireless connection mode, if using TC XS you will need to connect the WIFI module to the back of the VCI Module.
Check that WIFI has been enabled on the computer and search for the VCI network:
Wireless Network Name: TCXS_
Default Password: PSK_<network name>
Example:
Wireless Network Name: TCXS_5129644
Default Password: PSK_TCXS_5129644
The USB connection is a direct connection to your computer using any available USB port.
