Rain Light Sensor

The Rain Light Sensor (RLS) detects water on the windshield by emitting IR light and measuring the amount of light reflected.

The RLS performs a calibration when the 12V system is first connected.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the RLS electrical connector will induce a recalibration.

The RLS is also used for auto lighting control.
