Vehicle State of Health

Start the Vehicle of Health Check as follows

  1. Click on the Confirm button do confirm the selected VCI. (See (8) on figure 3.1)

    The Vehicle Identification is carried out

  2. Click on the Confirm button again.

The Vehicle Type Selection is carried out. This may take a few minutes before the Vehicle State of Health appears.

  1. Selection of the ECUs  . You can either choose all ECUs with DTCs, all ECUs, or none
  2. Refresh  button.
  3. Vehicle Diagnostics  button to access any functions that are not ECU specific.
  4. Error Codes  button for opening the "DTC-Overview"  Interface of the selected ECUs. More than one ECUs can be selected. See Figure 3.7.
  5. System Diagnose  button to open the "Module Diagnose"  Interface of the selected ECU for ECU-specific functions. If there is more than one selected ECU, the button will be disabled. See Figure 3.8

By clicking in the black fields for active ECUs you can choose the ECUs manually. The red circle next to the Error Codes button indicates the total number of DTCs of the selected ECUs.

  1. Update  button.
  2. Clear DTCs  button. Sends command DTC_Clear  to all ECUs.
  3. Save DTCs  button. Saves the DTC list to session logs
  4. DTC Report  . Creates a report with the DTCs Table.
  5. Environmental Data  button. Displays the environmental data of selected ECUs.
  6. DTC Info  for displaying details of the selected DTC.
  7. DTC Snapchot  for information and data on the vehicle status when the error message was generated

The Fault Memory  Table shows the ECU name, the failure code, a small description of the failure, the symptom, and the status.

There are three different statuses of the ECUs:

Confirmed and active.

Confirmed and passive.

Alternating

Status unknown

The module diagnose shows the programmed ECUs. Select the ECUs for flashing by clicking into the fields. See Figure 3.9.
