Diagnostic Package Update

For each software update, change request, bug fix, etc., a new release must be created. This new release is basically used to upload the required files to the Vin-Fast server via our upload tool. This way they can later be distributed to the workshops via Vinfast Sync .

For an update it is necessary that the PRODIS.WTS application is closed and the pc is connected to the internet. If the PRODIS.WTS application is running, this icon is displayed in the Windows taskbar . Right click on this icon and then click on "Close Window".

If Vinfast Sync is already online, i.e., running in the background, double-click the VinFast Diagnostics or Vinfast Sync icon (see Figure 2.4b).

Once Vinfast Sync is open, click the "Search for Updates" button (see Figure 2.10). A window will then open with all available updates.

NOTE: If Vinfast Sync is not online, you will need to open VinFast Diagnostics from the desktop to automatically check for updates.

Click on the button OK to download the update. The Vinfast Sync displays the packages that have been downloaded.

When the download is completed, you will be asked to restart the application for starting the installation of the updates.

After starting Vinfast Sync again, an overview of all packages is shown. Click on "Install updates". (See Figure 2.7)
