Auxiliary Air Regulator

  1. Engine must be cold to perform this test. Start engine and run at idle speed. Pinch hose between air regulator and intake air hose. RPM must drop. Repeat test after engine runs at idle speed for about 5 minutes. RPM should not drop.
  2. If RPM changes when engine is warm, unplug electrical connector from air regulator. Check voltage supply at connector with engine running. If battery voltage is present, replace auxiliary air regulator.
