Fuel Pressure Regulator

Using "T" fitting, connect fuel pressure gauge in fuel delivery line. Run engine at idle speed. Pressure should be 36 psi (2.6 kg/cm² ) on Golf, Golf GT and Jetta or 29 psi (2 kg/cm² ) on Vanagon with pressure regulator vacuum line connected. With vacuum line disconnected from pressure regulator, pressure should be 44 psi (3.1 kg/cm² ) on Golf, Golf GT and Jetta or 36 psi (2.6 kg/cm² ) on Vanagon.
