Work sequence
- Connect Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 (VAG1552), then switch ignition on and select Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) J220 by pressing buttons - 0 - an - 1 - to insert "Engine Electronics" address word 01 → Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 , connecting and selecting functions .

- Press buttons - 1 - and - 5 - to select "Readiness code" function and press - Q - button to confirm input.
Must appear on display when all diagnostic functions have been successfully completed.

- Press buttons - 0 - and - 6 - to select "End output" function 06 and press - Q - button to confirm input.
- Switch ignition off.
