Read Measuring Value Block, initiating: Requirements
- All electrical consumers (e.g. lights and rear window defroster) switched off
- Air conditioner switched off (if equipped)
- Automatic transmission selector lever in "P" or "N" position
- No malfunctions stored in DTC memory → Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking and erasing (scan tool functions 02 and 05)
- Coolant temperature at least 85 ° C → display group 004, display field 3
