Test procedure

Connect VAG1551 or VAG1552 mobile Scan Tool (ST).
Switch ignition on and select Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220- by pressing buttons -0- and -1- to insert "Engine Electronics" address word 01, see VAG1551 SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS .

Operate scan tool taking into account information on display.
Press buttons -0- and -3- to select "Output Diagnostic Test Mode" function 03.
