Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM), activating: Notes

The output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) activates the following components in the stated sequence:

1 - Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve N80

2 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve N112

3 - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump relay J299

4 - Intake Manifold change-over valve N156

5 - Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Scan Tool (ST) VAG 1551 or mobile scan tool VAG 1552 with adapter cable VAG 1551/3
Test box VAG 1598/31
Multimeter (Fluke 83 or equivalent)
Voltage tester VAG 1527B
