Work sequence

• Connect the VAG 1551 scan tool (VAG 1552). Then switch ignition on and select engine control module with the "Address word" 01. (Connecting scan tool and selecting engine control module → VAG1551 scan tool, connecting and selecting engine control module  .)

Indicated on display:

• Press keys 1 and 5 for the "Readiness code" function and confirm entry with Q key.

Must appear on display when all diagnostic functions have been successfully completed:

• Press → key.
• Press keys 0 and 6 for "End data transfer" function and confirm input with Q key.

Indicated on display:

One of the diagnostic checks has not run through successfully:

• Press → key.
• Generate readiness code. For engine code AWW → Readiness code for engine code AWW, generating  ; for engine code AWP → Readiness code for engine code AWP, generating
