Test sequence
- Connect V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool and select (address word 03) "Brake electronics" with ignition switched on; Refer to V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool, connecting and selecting function
- Establish which type of ABS hydraulic control module is installed. Refer to Identifying characteristics .
- Establish engine code.
