Checking wires to Transmission Control Module (TCM)

Disconnect 20-pin harness connector -2-.

Check for open circuits in wires between test box and 20-pin harness connector to Transmission Control Module (TCM) according to wiring diagram.

Terminal 9 + socket 48

Terminal 10 + socket 49

Terminal 11 + socket 50

Terminal 12 + socket 26

Terminal 13 + socket 51

Terminal 14 + socket 46

Terminal 15 + socket 66

Terminal 16 + socket 65

Terminal 17 + socket 25

Wire resistance: max. 1.5 Ω

Also check wires for short circuit to each other.

Specified value: ∞ Ω

If no malfunctions are found in wires:

Replace malfunctioning solenoid valve:

Erase DTC memory of Transmission Control Module (TCM). Refer to Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data
