- Always replace if removed.
- Steering Gear
- With the power steering control module.
- With the electromechanical power steering motor.
- With steering torque sensor.
- Can be checked in Guided Fault Finding using the vehicle diagnostic tester.
- Removing and installing, refer to STEERING GEAR .NOTE:
Correct any faults stored in the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory before replacing the steering gear. Refer to the vehicle diagnostic tester.
- Wheel Bearing Housing
- Nut
- M12 x 1.5
- Tighten to 100 Nm, then loosen 180° (1/2) turn and tighten to 100 Nm again.
- Self-locking
- Always replace if removed.
- Subframe
- Bolt
- M10 x 70
- 50 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.
- Always replace if removed.
- Heat Shield
- TORX® Bolt
- 6 Nm
- Self-tapping
- Electrical Wire
