ABS Control Module -J104-, SEPARATING FROM THE ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, MARK 70 ABS/ASR
Removing
-- Get the coding from the ABS Control Module -J104- and write it down.
Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Check coding in the ABS control module J104
Remove the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- and ABS Control Module -J104-, refer to ABS Control Module -J104- AND ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, WITH ABS MARK 70 ABS/ASR .
Install the transportation protection for the valve domes on the ABS Control Module -J104- after separating the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-.
The warranty on the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- will not be honored if the transportation protection is missing.
- Transport protection for valve domes (foam)
- M10 plug
- M12 plug
-- Place the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- and the ABS Control Module -J104- on a clean level surface facing upward.
-- Remove bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the ABS Control Module -J104- from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- in -direction of arrow- without tilting it.
-- Carefully remove all the seals from the valve domes on the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-.
- The circuit board is exposed when the ABS Control Module -J104- is removed.
- Protect the ABS Control Module -J104- from moisture and dirt particles from getting inside.
- The pump must not be separated from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-.
- Avoid build-up of static electricity!
-- Cover ABS Control Module -J104- solenoid coils with a lint-free cloth.
After disconnecting from ABS Control Module -J104- and ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, use transportation protection for valve body.
Installing, refer to ABS Control Module -J104-, ATTACHING TO ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, MARK 70 ABS/ASR .
