-- Using a multimeter, measure the resistance of the circuits between the Reducing Agent Reservoir Processing Unit -G698- / Reducing Agent Reservoir Sensor -G697-. Refer to the applicable wiring diagram.

-- Check the wires for high resistance, short circuit or open.
-- Check the electrical harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.

If no malfunction is detected in the wiring and the voltage reading was OK:
-- Replace the Reducing Agent Reservoir Processing Unit -G698- / Reducing Agent Reservoir Sensor -G697-. Refer to the Repair Information.
