Exhaust Manifold Overview

NOTE:

After exhaust system installation work, ensure system is spaced far enough away from body. If necessary, loosen the double clamp on the front exhaust pipes and align the pipes again.

Do not use sealants containing silicone. Traces of silicone components which are sucked into the engine are not burned there, and they damage the oxygen sensors.

Replace the self-locking nuts.

  1. Intake Manifold Front Support
    • Bolted to the cylinder head.
  2. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  3. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  4. Gasket
    • Bank 1
    • Cylinders 1, 2 and 3.
    • Always replace.
  5. Exhaust Manifold
    • Bank 1
    • Cylinders 1, 2 and 3.
    • Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
  6. Nut
    • 25 Nm
    • Always replace.
  7. Heat Shield
  8. Bolt
    • 20 Nm
  9. Intake Manifold Rear Support
  10. Exhaust Manifold
    • Bank 2
    • Cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
    • Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD .
  11. Gasket
    • Bank 2
    • Cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
    • Always replace
