Exhaust Pipe With Catalytic Converter Overview

NOTE:
After exhaust system work, ensure the system is spaced far enough away from the body. If necessary, loosen the double clamp on the front exhaust pipes and align the pipes again.
Do not use sealants containing silicone. Traces of silicone which are sucked into the engine are not burned there, and they damage the oxygen sensors.
Replace the self-locking nuts.

- Tunnel Brace
- Observe the installed direction.
- Bolt

- Suspended Mount
- Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter -G130-
- 50 Nm
- Bank 1, sensor 2.
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 1, 2 and 3.
- Black 4 pin connector.
- Grease the threads only with hot bolt paste G 052 112 A3, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.
- Use the ring spanner 7-piece set 3337 for removal and installation.
- Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39-
- 50 Nm
- Bank 1, sensor 1.
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 1, 2 and 3.
- Black 6 pin connector.
- Grease the threads only with hot bolt paste G 052 112 A3, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.
- Removing and installing, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- .
- Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 -G108-
- 50 Nm
- Bank 2, sensor 1.
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
- Brown 6 pin connector.
- Grease the threads only with hot bolt paste G 052 112 A3, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.
- Removing and installing, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor -G108- .
- Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131-
- 50 Nm
- Bank 2, sensor 2.
- Installed in the exhaust gas stream of cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
- Brown 4 pin connector.
- Grease the threads only with hot bolt paste G 052 112 A3, do not let the paste get onto the slits of the oxygen sensor body.
- Use the ring spanner 7-piece set 3337 for removal and installation.
