Overview - Display And Control Unit, PASSAT Cc From My 2009 And Cc From My 2010 Though 11/04/2011

NOTE:

Any function selected on the control will appear in the radio display.

The duration of the display can be set to 3, 5 or 10 seconds using the Radio Setup under System/Air conditioning display.

  1. Windshield Defroster Button
  2. Button - Upper Air Distribution
  3. Button - Center Air Distribution
  4. Button - Lower Air Distribution
  5. Recirculating Air Mode or Automatic Recirculating Air Mode Button
    • Press button for recirculating air function to prevent polluted air from entering interior.
    • Press the recirculation button repeatedly to activate the automatic recirculation mode.
      NOTE:

      Air Quality Sensor -G238- function. Refer to Air Quality Sensor -G238-, FUNCTION .

  6. Rear Window Defogger Button
  7. Interior Temperature Control with Button for Right Seat Heating
    NOTE:

    Setting HI max.: the air flow is automatically directed into the driver and front passenger footwells.

  8. AC  Button
    • Press the AC  button to turn the A/C on or off.
    • When the light in the button is on, the air conditioner compressor is switched on.
  9. DUAL  Button
    • If the indicator light in the button comes on, different temperatures can be set for left and right.
    • When the Dual  button is pressed (the indicator lamp turns off), then the temperature setting for the driver seat will also apply to the front passenger seat.

    NOTE:

    On vehicles equipped with auxiliary heating.

  13. Windshield Defroster Button
    • Pressing the button switches on the windshield defroster.
    • The windshield defroster stays on for a few minutes and then automatically switches off.
  14. A/C OFF  Button
    • Switching the Climatronic on and off
  15. AUTO  Button
    • By pressing the AUTO  button, Climatronic maintains the selected vehicle interior temperature completely automatically. With this setting the vent air temperature, the blower speed and the air distribution are controlled automatically.
    • The right LED in the button turns on by pushing the button continually. "AUTO" runs at a higher blower speed.
    • The Climatronic automatically changes to dual mode if the AUTO  button is pushed for longer than 3 seconds.
