Display And Control Unit, Removing And Installing, From 11/08/2010

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing

-- Remove the radio trim. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE .

-- Unclip the trim -2- from the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- -1- at the indicated locations -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge3409.

-- Disconnect the connector from the airbag indicator lamp.

-- Remove the screws (1.5 Nm) -arrows- from the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors from the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- -1-.

-- Pull the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- -1- out of the center console.

Installing

-- Install the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- in reverse order of removal.
