  • GO TO: Step 2

  • Gather more Information from customer about the complaint

  • DISCONNECT: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- electrical connector
  • IGNITION: ON
  • CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- wiring connector terminals T4 / 1 to T4 / 4 for voltage
  • SPECIFIED VALUE: Battery voltage
  • IGNITION: OFF
-- Was value obtained?		 -- YES:
  • GO TO: Step 3
-- NO:
  • CHECK: wiring for open, high resistance, short or electrical connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals
  • REPAIR: faulty wiring or connector
  • GO TO: Step 4

  • REMOVE: Engine Control Module -J623- electrical connector T94. Refer to appropriate service information.
  • CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- electrical connector terminal T4 / 3 to the Engine Control Module -J623- electrical connector terminal T94 / 28 for resistance.
  • CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- electrical connector terminal T4 / 2 to the Engine Control Module -J623- electrical connector terminal T94 / 50 for resistance.
  • CHECK: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- electrical connector terminal T5 / 5 to the Engine Control Module -J623- electrical connector terminal T94 / 18 for resistance.
  • SPECIFIED VALUE: 0.5 Ω (± 0.3 Ω)
-- Was value obtained?		 -- YES:
  • REPLACE: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19-. Refer to appropriate repair information.
  • GO TO: Step 4
-- NO:
  • CHECK: wiring for open, high resistance, short or electrical connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals
  • REPAIR: faulty wiring or connector
  • GO TO: Step 4

  • Final Procedure
  • Perform a road test to verify repair.
  • Do any DTC's return:
 -- YES:
  • FAULT DOES RETURN:
  • Perform the diagnostic procedure for that DTC.
  • no malfunction is detected in the wiring.
  • REPLACE: Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19-. Refer to proper repair information for removal and replace procedures.
-- NO:
  • Repair is complete, Generate readiness code. Refer to READINESS CODE .
  • Return vehicle to Customer
