Abs Control Module -J104- And Abs Hydraulic Unit -N55-, Removing And Installing, RHD With Abs Mark 70 Abs/ASR: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Do not confuse the brake lines when connecting them to the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-. Pay attention to the marked installation position.
Remove the plugs on the new ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- only when installing the corresponding brake line.
Brake fluid may leak out if the plugs from the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- are removed beforehand and the unit may not be sufficiently filled or adequately bled.
When installing, make sure the rubber bushings are not pushed out of the bracket. Make sure the ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- is secure after installing it otherwise malfunctions can occur.
-- Connect the battery. Refer to BATTERY .
-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator :V.A.G 1869/2 .
-- Bleed the brake system. Refer to HYDRAULIC SYSTEM .
If a new ABS Control Module -J104- was installed, it must be coded.
Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
