Safety Systems
The safety equipment provides optimal protection for all vehicle occupants. Driver and front passenger airbags, curtain airbags for both front and rear seats and side airbags for the front seats are all standard equipment.
NOTE:
The image above shows knee airbags. Knee airbags are not available in the United States on the 2015 Golf.
Airbag System:
- Single-stage driver airbag
- Single-stage front passenger airbag with Passenger Occupant Detection System
- Front side airbags
- Curtain airbags
Belt System:
- Three-point front seat belt with tensioner
- Three-point rear seat belt
- Front belt force limiter
- Top tether
