Heater And A/C Unit, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
If refrigerant circuit components were replaced:
-- Perform the adaptation of the refrigerant oil quantity in the refrigerant circuit. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

-- Pay attention to the correct seating of the condensation water drain. Refer to Condensation Water Drain, Removing and Installing .
-- Inspect the attachment points for the potential equalization cable and clean if necessary. Refer to the appropriate service information .
Conditions
- The contact surfaces must be clean and free of rust and grease.
-- Connect the potential equalization cable and tighten the nut -8-.
-- Connect the connectors.
-- Install the seals and loss protection devices without oil.
-- Install the heater and A/C unit air intake housing. Refer to Heater and A/C Unit Air Intake Housing, Removing and Installing .
-- Perform the "open the electric activated valves for the refrigerant circuit for extracting, evacuating and filling" with Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
-- Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING .
There is a risk of fatal injury due to high voltage.
Electrocution by direct contact or electric arc can cause severe bodily injury or fatal injury.
- Have a high-voltage technician or a high-voltage expert bring the high-voltage system back into service.
