Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module J898, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

If the control module is being replaced.

-- For new parts, remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the adjusting element plates -3- from the control module -1-.

Continuation for all vehicles

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the windshield projection control module.

- When inserting, never apply pressure on the housing upper section.

- A windshield projection control module that has been dropped needs to be replaced.

-- Insert the control module -1-.

-- Connect the connectors.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows-.

-- Place the windshield and secure with adhesive tape, but do not bond.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Perform a function test.

-- Install the windshield. Refer to WINDSHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Calibrate the control module. Refer to Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module J898, Calibrating  .
