A/C Compressor, Removing And Installing On Bracket: Removing

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER . .

NOTE:

The ribbed belt is not completely removed, but rather just removed from the A/C compressor belt pulley.

-- Release the tension on the ribbed belt. Refer to CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE (CVCA, CUUA, CUUB, DELA, DEBA, DEJA, DGMA) , CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE (CZCA, CZDA, CZTA) , CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE (CBPA, CKJA) , CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE (CNLA, CRJA) and CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) .

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the A/C compressor belt pulley.

NOTE:

If only the sub-assembly bracket is planned to be removed, then the refrigerant circuit stays "sealed".

-- Disconnect the connector -6-.

-- Remove the bolts -5- and remove the A/C compressor -1-.

-- Attach the A/C compressor -1- to the body using a suitable tool, for example welding wire -2-.
