ATF Level, Checking: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit: SMN372500 

• If filling the ATF, only use ATF that is available as a replacement part. Refer to the Parts Information.

Requirements

• The vehicle is level and all hoist mounts are the same height.
• Noise insulation removed.
• The Vehicle Diagnostic Tester is connected.
• To begin working, the oil temperature should not be higher than 45 °C (113 °F).
• Test temperature: 35 to 45 °C (95 to 113 °F)
