Checking Function

A simple function check can be performed following service on brake system, which did not directly concern ABS components. In other words, indicator lamp in instrument cluster must go out after starting engine. This would indicate system is working properly.

If work is performed on hydraulic modulator, electronic control unit, speed sensors, wire harness or if parts or equipment are replaced because of damage through accident, components can be individually tested using simple test equipment.
