Fuel Injectors

  1. Disconnect fuel injector connector. Using an ohmmeter, connect ohmmeter leads across fuel injector terminals.
  2. On 240 DL/GL, 740 GL, 740 GLE, and 760 GLE, ohmmeter should read 16 ohms resistance. On 740 GL ohmmeter should read 14 ohms resistance. On 740 Turbo and 760 Turbo, ohmmeter should read 3 ohms resistance.
  3. If fuel injector resistance is not according to specification, replace fuel injector.
