Bad ECU. Engine operates in "Limp Home" mode. |
Replace ECU |
| 1-4-3 |
Knock Sensor Signal missing/incorrect. "Limp home" mode selected by control unit if signal not received from knock sensor during 48-rev- olution period W/engine speeds above 3000 RPM. |
|
| 1-4-4 |
Fuel System Load Signal missing. Ign. setting depends on signal strength. "Limp Home" mode selected if missing load signal from fuel control unit in 32 consecutive firing pulses. |
|
| 2-1-4 |
Impulse sensor signal sporadically missing. |
|
| 2-2-4 |
Engine temp. signal missing/incorrect "Limp Home" mode selected by control unit if signal is missing. The engine is considered hot. |
Check Temp. Sens. |
| 2-3-4 |
Throttle Switch Signal missing or incorrect. Fault code registered when, during more than 16 consecutive firing impulses, control unit receives signals from throttle sw. at same time as eng. speed > 2600 rpm & load signal exceeds a predetermined limit, or doesn't receive any signal from throttle sw. during deceleration under fuel cut-off conditions. |

| 2-4-1 |
EGR sys. malfunction. EGR temp. sensor senses flow of exhaust gas back to eng. is too small |
