Condition

• The fault is permanent.
• The control module is correctly connected.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in cable between fuse 11/28 and control module connector terminal 4T.
• Short-circuit to ground or voltage in cable between fuse 28 and control module connector terminal 4T.
• Defective switch.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Vehicle speed does not increase when SET+ is activated.
• Cruise control does not engage.
• Vehicle speed increases constantly.
