Output Signals PHM
GSM communication to the telephone antenna (via telephone box).
Audio signal to handsfree loudspeaker.
Audio signal to the handset.
The phone module sends the following signals.
- Text messages concerning the telephone system are sent from the phone module to the Driver information module (DIM) which displays them.
- In event of a call the audio module receives a signal and activates the audio system mute function.
- Signals to VIDA via data link connector (DLC).
If the telephone system stops functioning it will stop sending the phone module communicating signal which causes the central electrical module (CEM) to inform other modules that the phone module does not function. If the Driver information module (DIM) receives 20 such messages and the ignition key is in positions I or II a warning message will be displayed.
If the phone module receives a signal that the Driver information module (DIM) does not function the telephone system functions are reduced. In this situation calls may only be made and received.
