Checking activation with TRACS switch

• Ignition on.
• Read off the status of the TRACS/STC switch
• Press in the TRACS switch and hold it in for approximately 2 seconds. Release the switch and wait approximately 5 seconds and then hold it down for approximately a further 2 seconds.

  The status of the TRACS/STC switch should fluctuate when pressed in repeatedly. At the same time check that the TRACS/STC warning lamp lights and goes out.

Is the status changed? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking the wiring and TRACS/STC switch
