Signal too low. Permanent fault: Verification

HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

• Ignition off.
• Connect the connectors, install the components etc.
• Jack up the car so that the drive wheels are free.
• Start the vehicle.
• Read off the current through the solenoid circuit.
• Apply the brake to the wheel and put the gear selector into position D.
• Slowly press down the accelerator pedal.

  The current should decrease as the accelerator pedal is pressed down.

Does the current decrease as the accelerator pedal is pressed down? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
