Checking lock-up solenoid SL

• Ignition off.
• Remedy control module and automatic transmission connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
• Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
• Ignition on.
• Gear selector in position P.
• Activate lock-up solenoid SL.

  The value should change between OFF and ON.

  If the value changes between OFF and ON the cause of the fault was contact resistance and oxidation.

Does the value change between OFF and ON? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking wiring and components
