• Ignition off.

  Check cable between control module #A51 and transmission connector (control module side) #23 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Check cable between transmission connector (transmission side) #23 and lock-up solenoid SL for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  HINT: With the ignition off and control module disconnected the resistance between control module #A51 and ground (breakout box #53) should be 11-15 Ω. 

  Remedy as necessary.
