Checking wiring and components
Check cable between control module #A37 and transmission connector (control module side) #12 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
HINT: With the ignition off and the transmission connector disconnected the resistance between #12 and #13 should be 765-1035 Ω at 20°C (68°F). At other transmission temperatures, see table under Component resistance values .
HINT: With the control module and transmission connectors disconnected the resistance between control module #A37 and #A55 should be infinite.
Remedy as necessary.
