Intermittent fault
- Ignition off.
Remedy control module and transmission connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check power supply cable between control module #A57 and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector #1 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
Check signal cable between control module #A39 and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector #2 for an open-circuit or a an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
Remedy as necessary.
