Checking wiring and sensors

Check the power supply cable between transmission control module (TCM) #A57 and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector #1 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Check the signal cable between transmission control module (TCM) #A39 and vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connector #2 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

HINT: With the control module connected, the ignition on and a voltmeter connected between vehicle speed sensor (VSS) connectors #1 and #2 (control module side), the voltage should be approximately 3 V under Ubat. 

Remedy as necessary.
