Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information Sub-0002

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUB-002 is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers an open-circuit in the signal cable for voice coil 1 in the bass speaker.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-0002 can only be diagnosed when the power is on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is turned from position 0 to positions II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the signal cable from the amplifier and voice coil 1 in the subwoofer module (SUB).

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from the loudspeakers
• Muffled sound from the loudspeaker.
