Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUB-0004 is stored if the subwoofer module (SUB) registers that the signal on the signal cable to voice coil 1 in the bass loudspeaker is too high or too low.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SUB-0004 can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil 1 in the bass speaker.
• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the amplifier and voice coil 1 in the bass speaker.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No sound from the loudspeakers.
